Taqueria San Jose opened its doors in 1993, founded by a Mexican family with a passion for authentic, home-style cooking. Rooted in the heart of Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood, we've spent over three decades serving the same bold flavors passed down through generations.
In 2007, the restaurant was lovingly handed to cousins who carried on the legacy — same recipes, same warmth, same commitment to quality. Every taco, burrito, and plate that leaves our kitchen is made with fresh ingredients and the same care as the very first day we opened.
